There was a time when kids (and I’m pretty sure you did it too) used to set up frippery stands just outside their houses, doing their best to sell their belongings.
Toys they no longer used, sticker albums, little treasures, comics, old books.
I did it myself, I remember. I used to create labels with prices, and sometimes I also decided to set the bar higher and decorate my own stand with flowers, drawings, or puppets.
I like to think that ever since I've always had a genuine vocation for doing things right, never leaving anything to chance. And I used to recognize the power of aesthetics that was directly proportional to how many people I was capturing with my unique stand (who 99% were parents of my friends or my own mother).
Therefore, If I have to trace back my passion for design and for the "process" in general, I certainly can't help but remember the “Years of the Toys Stand”.
For some of us, this calling has never faded but has only turned into a digital one.

Free websites require nothing but your time and effort.
Let’s start with the bad news first: every FREE website that you’ll create with some website builders will have the great limitation of providing you with a non-customized domain and / or an ever-present logo that reminds you that the page you have created is a "guest" of some other service.
BUT..
But the positive aspect of building a FREE landing page or website is that you’ll have your own page you can test and edit until you’ll decide to do a big investment in the near future.
Plus: most of the website builders out there are super user-friendly.
So you can decide to experiment without the commitment to pay for a site.
So here are my 3 favorite website builders, have a look, and let’s see what’s the best for your needs.
1. Mailchimp - FREE Landing Page
Mailchimp landing pages can help you grow your audience AND promote products and services.
With Mailchimp, you can also rest assured that your landing pages will look good on any device, as all their templates are responsive.
The number of templates is pretty limited but the final result is a good basis to start with.
Keep in mind that you can create a free URL for your landing page using the Mailchimp domain otherwise you’ll need to upgrade your free version.

2. Wix - FREE Website
Wix does have a free option but your site will have branded “Wix ads.”
It will also be published under a subdomain like this: https://USERNAME.wixsite.com/SITE-NAME
But hey, Wix comes with over 500 professionally designed templates to help you make something amazing.
All you need to do is add your content and publish your site.
Plus, Wix sites can and do rank well in google search results. Pretty awesome, huh?

You can decide to simply build a landing page rather than a whole website (and this is totally fine especially if you want to promote your offer).
